At Soap Shack Farms, we believe you deserve to know exactly what you’re putting on your skin. That’s why we keep our ingredient list honest, simple, and rooted in nature. No mystery chemicals. No synthetic shortcuts. Just real ingredients, thoughtfully chosen and handcrafted with care on our Kentucky farm.

Our Star Ingredient: Fresh Goat Milk

Everything starts with goat milk — fresh from our own farm animals right here in Hazel Green, Kentucky. Goat milk isn’t just a trendy ingredient; it’s been used for centuries for its remarkable skin benefits:

  • Rich in vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, D, and E — all essential for healthy, glowing skin
  • Natural lactic acid gently exfoliates and brightens, removing dead skin cells without harsh scrubbing
  • Naturally moisturizing — the fat molecules in goat milk deeply hydrate and soften skin
  • Anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe irritated or dry skin

Because our goat milk comes straight from our farm, it’s as fresh as it gets — a far cry from the powdered or processed milk used in mass-produced products.

Nourishing Oils & Butters

We blend our goat milk with a carefully selected combination of skin-loving oils and butters that cleanse, moisturize, and protect:

  • Coconut Oil — creates a rich, bubbly lather and has natural antibacterial properties
  • Olive Oil — deeply moisturizing and gentle, packed with antioxidants
  • Shea Butter — intensely nourishing, helps lock in moisture and soothe dry skin
  • Castor Oil — boosts lather and adds a silky feel to the bar
  • Sweet Almond Oil — lightweight and easily absorbed, great for all skin types

Natural Botanicals & Essentials

Depending on the variety, our soaps and bath products may also include:

  • Essential Oils — for natural fragrance and therapeutic benefits (lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, citrus, and more)
  • Paraben-Free Fragrance Oils — select products use carefully chosen paraben-free fragrance oils to achieve certain scents while keeping your skin safe
  • Dried Herbs & Botanicals — like lavender buds, oatmeal, rose petals, and calendula for gentle exfoliation and visual beauty
  • Natural Colorants — we use clays, botanicals, and micas to achieve color naturally wherever possible
  • Honey — a natural humectant that draws moisture to the skin

What We Never Use

We are just as proud of what’s not in our products as what is:

  • ❌ Artificial preservatives
  • ❌ Petroleum-based ingredients
  • ❌ Fillers or cheap extenders

When we use fragrance oils in select products, we choose only paraben-free options — because even our scented products should be something you can feel good about.
